The Sims 3 Interview - Maxis Talks - 28th September 08
A user over at the Official Forums for The Sims 2 posted a large transcript from an Interview with Ben Bell.
He talks about a lot of the new features of the game and answers some very important questions.
An interesting tid bit:
"We’re not talking specifically about our system specs, but The Sims is a mainstream game, so it’s really mission critical for us to have mainstream system requirements. I don’t know how they do it [laughs], but the engineers are making it work."

The Sims Movie News - 23rd September 08
Although not directly related to The Sims 3, some light has finally been shed on the basic idea of what The Sims Movie will be about.
John Davis, Producer of the movie in question, gave out some information in an interview with Collider.

New Screenshots & New VIP Blog - 19th September 08
The Official Website for The Sims 3 have posted 3 brand new screenshots. Check them out in the screenshots section.
JoAnna, who works on The Sims 3 team has also posted a brand new blog in the VIP section. She talks about the new town. I have added this in the Official Blog section for those of you that aren't signed up for the VIP service. This blog also came with two brand new screenshots which I have again, added in the screenshots section. Find the link above.
Also in the news, IGN have posted a new article about the game. They discuss the features like moods, traits etc.

MTV Interviews Lyndsay Pearson - 17th September 08
A chat transcript from MTV has appeared on their website. They sat down with Lyndsay Pearson and talked about some of the more darker themes of The Sims 3.

The Sims 3 Goes Mobile - 8th September 08
Sorry for the lack of news lately, updates regarding The Sims 3 have been scarce lately. Probably due to the fact Spore was released Worldwide this weekend.
However, EA announced on Friday that they are releasing The Sims 3 for mobile phones, including the Apple's new i-Phone.
September is here and we're finally in Autumn, so it's more than likely we'll be getting some new updates soon! Keep checking back!
