Presentation Report & New Videos - 31st October 08First let me say, Happy Halloween to everyone! Secondly, as you all know, Ben Bell gave a presentation of The Sims 3 in London today.
A user at the UK forums has kindly posted their report with a lot of new information and pictures. Apparently there will be more uploaded soon.
The Sims Youtube channel also updated today with two brand new videos. These are quite unique videos as they use the game to poke fun at the US elections.
The Sims 3 Theme Released - 23rd October 08
The main theme music for the third game has been released.
The talent of Steve Jablonsky has delivered us a spectacular piece of music that fits perfectly with The Sims 3.
It has a wonderous, magical and inspiring sound to it.

Music Composer Announced - 22nd October 08
The Sims Label has announced that Steve Jablonsky will set the classic sound for the next game.
Steve Jablonsky is the mastermind behind such projects like The Transformers Movie & the Desperate Housewives TV series.
The Sims 3 In London & New Blog - 17th October 08
A new blog has been added in the Blog Section.
This blog was in the VIP section on the Official Website. However, many people are having problems accessing it. Luckily, InfiniteSims & a user on the BBS managed to save it.
This time, Ray Mazza talks about how the careers now work, what outcomes they can have, and gives us an insight into the kinds of new jobs that will be available.
Also in the news, EA will be in Trafalgar Square, London on the 31st of October. Many of their games will be showcased there, including The Sims 3. Although it's not confirmed on what they'll be showing exactly, hopefully we will get photos or videos from this event.

New Screenshots - 16th October 08
EB Games also posted 4 new screenshots of the game. However, these are not Official and aren't very big, but still big enough to view.

Rod Humble Promoted - 8th October 08
Formerly known as the Creative Director of The Sims Label, Rod Humble has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Head of The Sims Label.
The announcement that came from EA also stated that Nancy Smith, who previously ran The Sims Label will also be taking up a new position on the EA Executive's within a month.
So good news for Rod Humble and Nancy Smith, well done guys.
In-game Advertising in The Sims 3 - 7th October 08
Advertising Age have posted an article about how The Sims 3 will include in-game advertising.
EA are going that extra length to make the game much more realistic. It will allow the user to optionally connect to the Internet and have adverts appear in their game.
These are not going to be frustrating pop-ups, or flashing messages on your screen. These will be in the form of things like cinema posters.

Associate Producer, Jennifer Lane, has posted a new blog on the Official The Sims 3 Website today.
She talks about the new feature, Create-a-style! This mode allows you to customize your Sims' clothing, furniture, wallpaper, doors, everything!

3 new screenshots have also been added into the screenshots section. They are very detailed and show great expressions on the Sims' faces.
