Slightly back logged with news, but here is a run down of what's been going on in the world of The Sims 3:
IGN have posted a new article all about World Adventures, focusing especially on the China destination. They have also added screenshots and a couple of gameplay videos: IGN Article
EA has announced via their Twitter page that the long awaited and much anticipated "Create a World" tool is to be released in December. This will give players the opportunity to create their own neighbourhoods from scratch.
EA also released 4 new screenshots of China & France:

The Sims 3 Store (Love it or hate it) has been updated with 4 brand new sets to download. And believe it or not... one of them is free this time!
Steampunk - 5 objects = 325 points
Regal Living - 41 objects = 2400 points
Victorian Fashions - 17 items = 950 points
Halloween Treats - 6 objects = free

I completely forgot that on August 13th it was The Sims 3 News Center's first birthday! We've been providing news and updates on the game for over a year now! Happy belated birthday!
